At the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, NASA engineers control space vehicles on a daily basis. It takes almost three years of training to do what they do, and today, we'll get a feel for what it's like to sit in the chairs at Mission Control.

  • A bunch of people responsible supervising a spacecraft that's flying over 25 times faster than the speed of sound, roughly 17,500MPH, where anything can go wrong, for 24 hours non-stop from hours before launch to a couple of hours after landing, in order to ensure the safety of the crew that had the courage to strap themselves into that machine, trusting the people who got the craft ready, and the people in that room to direct them correctly. This is serious business, not shit at all.

  • I can hear the breathing over the talking.....how annoying.
