  • @NiKeEliT3 translated (from czech lang)^^ i dont think it helps you anymore since your post is 2 months old but anyway :) Thumb it up please

  • there can be placed various batteries (differs by capacity), the smallest one has 4 cells. for the czech republic there is adapter 90W in the package but you can also buy 65W one which is smaller as you can see. the notebook has 2 graphic cards and we can now take a look on how it looks when switching between them during run time. the graphic choosing is done by pre-installed utility and switching itself is almost instant."

  • "in this short video we gonna take a look on a notebook Lenovo ThinkPad T400... rough handling shouldnt be problem, battery is moving when used the one which exceeds the size of notebook. due to the weight reduction the keyboard underlay reinforcement is bearing down; not noticable whily typing. cd/dvd rom can be replaced by another battery / HDD / serial-parallel port during the run time.

  • I bought my T400 almost a year ago with Win7 Ultimate and have nooooo complaints. I agree, Lenovo has fixed some issues that were brought up and it is by far a solid Thinkpad.

  • what did he say?

  • I would customize it new, and that way your not getting a surprise. :-) But then again you have to wait a long time to get it, and for it to go through customs. Then when you get your machine, hopefully your not too picky about the build quality and engineering. Also hopefully you don't have to always send your machine in to be fixed by some backyard tech junkies. They need to use CMM machines to check the laptops when there design. However, the Japanese should engineer the thinkpads!

  • Yes , but the customer service blows. I had got a T61 brand new machine from the outlet, and the top LCD Cover was warped. Had an arch like tunnel in the screen and the depot failed twice even on a raid. Then customer delight, Steve Grisom and Gregg, they wouldn't give me a discount on a second machine. Your better off going with a macbook pro prev gen. However, if things do change I might reconsider. Tigerdirect and newegg ship fast, and have great customer service. You don't experience issues.

  • 3 months in and my T400 works great. can't wait to upgrade it to Win7. Also, if you read up on Lenovo news, all laptops they make post-October 22 will be optimized for Windows 7, making it even faster than before. ("Enhanced Experience" or EE--it's mostly bios update and registry tweaks)

  • the secret lies in the CPU's, with the new fixed keyboard they also slightly bumped CPU speeds,

look for a P8700, P8800, T9600, P9500, T9900 anything else is from the old models...

  • just shut up, you know nothing about Lenovo, they have updated this model and fixed everything already.
