This app is a play off of a popular arcade game, but played in real space. The player is represented by a ghost, and the ghosts movement is contolled by the user's personal location in real space, and how they move about it. Running in one direction will show the ghost moving in that direction in relation to the start point of the game.
The goal is to collect the coins and avoid the other bad ghosts who have an artificial intelligence built in, but are not incredibly smart. Gathering points is the goal, and you can increase the results by getting the star power ups, which convert the bad ghosts to vulnerable ones, which you can consume for points if you get close enough to them.
"You will produce a minimum of three interaction experiments. Can you explore alternative interactions for to build a small experimental toy? How could these experiments feed in to a larger project?"
The apps needed to explore other sensors rather than just the basic touch element, and I explored the geolocation, microphone and accelerometer.
The games have been built in FlashBuilder for this uni project, and are not for any moneymaking purposes. All the music and sounds are freesource.
