I just recently went out for a drive and ended up going to some woods that I use from time to time, so I decided while I was there I'd cook something to eat on my rocket stove. I used it to boil up some water for a brew also, seemed like another opportunity to video it YET AGAIN for youtube. Any excuse, but hey...why not. Anyway since it was still daylight it showed it off quite well being used in the field so to speak, hope you like it. Cheers all...

  • ...I love your logic as I followed your changes...you must be an engineer...I have a cabin in the woods which I have attempted to heat with a wood stove...the cabin is still very cold after a couple hours. I am considering a rocket heater for the cabin. Mice have made a mess of my attempts at insulation as well.

  • @paulpellicci Thank you for your kind words and interest, I am not an engineer but was a motor mechanic many years ago. I guess I see things from a practical and logical point of view and love to improvise, I am sure you are on the right lines with a rocket heater and wish you every success. Maybe when you finally get the job done you will post the results, it would be interesting to see it. All the best and cheers!

  • You gotta cook on the next one, great stove !!! Bacon & eggs would be a great one.

  • how about a campfire?

  • @paulpellicci Have a look at: youtube.com/watch?v=2bsUd5zLcLw

  • This is the best stove ever please email me the plans if you dont mind. gogreener.quote@gmail.com. please I thought this design is brilliant

  • Cool!

  • I love the swirl =D

  • Excellent series, well designed and executed. Four things: Would you explain the turbo-combustion insert in greater detail and would you provide some dimensions/proportions. What affect does the height of the chimney have? Finally, how about a slanted, self-feeding chute?

  • Hi. That metal sheet inside the chimney makes a lot of diference in the heat output? What was the idea behind? Thanks.
