We the People and the Price We Pay

This video, created by Ben C., of Colorado, was the second runner up in the Joe Foss Institute's first-ever video scholarship contest. Ben won a $500 scholarship for his work---congratulations!

The Joe Foss Institute works to inspire the youth of America to patriotism, public service, and an appreciation for America's freedoms. We send veteran volunteers into schools all over America to share their stories and to talk about the importance of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and why our freedoms matter. We work with other organizations to develop material to help teachers of civics and history. And we hold annual scholarship contests for students nationwide.
