what is the little a beside the wronskian in the v1 v2 equations?

@lecolis We're solving the ODE ay'' + by' + cy = G(x). so the "a" is the coefficient of y''/

This is very helpful but I'm never given the solution to the homogeneous problem and that's what I'm having the most problems with.
