Irresponsible parents that allow cats and babies to "play" like this should be reported to law enforcement. This is really dangerous no matter how gentle you think the cat is. Cats do not think like humans and they don't "play" in the manner we think of as play. They will bite and scratch while "playing". They think like cats. There is no excuse for risking the safety of a baby in this manner. I am a cat lover and I know cats are not concerned about the potential they have for harm.

@dandestructo A random cat sitting on stairs just went up to my 1st grade cousin and stratched her entire face bloody. She didn't even do anything to that cat, but walk past her. NOT ALL CATS ARE "LOVELY AND SWEET".

This is a typical reaction of cat haters. Their hate comes from not understanding the feline language, which is completely different from kanine's. Using the same language to both cats and dogs is like talking to French and Japanese in Japnese only. Once you understand the difference, your opinion will change. My cat is very gentle and you will like him if you met him as he will like you for sure. The number of children mauled by dogs is greater than the children severely hurt by cats.
