I decided to pulled this guitar out of my collection to demo because I don't think you see them very often... Its a Hofner CT Club. This is an interesting modern version of a guitar based on the old early 60's Hofner Club guitars made famous by the Beatles and other early 60's groups. It is actually a very versatile guitar offering a variety of sounds all produced with the unique controls similar to the ones used on the Beatle Bass. The action on mine is extremely good offering a very "fast" neck. All-in-all a cool looking and sounding guitar that came with a beautiful hard-shell case.

  • @SOMAN1983V Yes, there are a lot of different pick-ups to choose from these days. I know David Gilmore uses a Strat most of the time but I'm not sure what pick-ups he has in it. i bet there are some articles describing his rig. You are correct...he does have a great sound!

  • @karenmuenchen Thank you karen! I think you play just fine! I've been getting a couple questions from people all over about different guitars etc., so i thought i'd show-case a few if that helps them make a decision on what guitar to buy or best suits their need. (Keep making your enjoyable videos!!) Lar

  • @LarWolkan

I in my Squier - fender I want to change converters (three pieces).

I don't know whether well I named it. I want to catch sound of guitar similar David's G. At the moment much helping sound of my guitars is doing STUDIO ONE PRO .

Very cool program ,but not yet I got to know him until the end :-)

  • this guitar sounds really good Lar ! I wished I could play like you ! lol....big thumbs up ! Karen :-))

  • @SOMAN1983V you are correct my friend. i love the nice high end instruments like the Fenders & Gibson, but I also have several of the lesser known brands. they still offer neat little instrument with different designs and sounds. So I think there is a lot to be said for the less expensive stuff too...especially if you are on a budget. I did look this guitar up and its listed for $999.00, but nobody is selling them for that. Most prices were between $300 - $550.

  • @LarWolkan It is indeed not an expensive guitar.

Sometimes it is possible to buy something good and not much to pay :)
