  • "No official Americans in there"

LOL... He was being honest :P

Pakistan's problem is its military. They control everything, from administrative offices to industries and real estate. It is pretty much a replica of Chinese regime structure, but kinda discrete.

The military will do anything to make sure they keep their absolute hold over the country. Until something is done to undermine their powers, nothing will change.

  • "Deobandhi" school of thought has existed in madrassas in South Asia for centuries without any problem.

But ever since Saudi Arabia has become rich in petro dollars, they have been pumping money into madrasas all over the wolrd and have promoted their brand of Wahabhism.

It makes no sense wasting money and lives in Kashmir when the same energy and effort can be used constructively in rebuilding a nation to a modern successful nation.

  • You are partially right about Madrassas' but they teach "Deobandi" brand of Islam not Wahabhi . I wish we can remove these Madrassas from Pakistan but thats not an easy task.

About Kashmir Issue. Why dont you advise Indians to act upon the resolutions of United Nation. We can atlease afford a War with india and will continue pursuing for Kashmir till our last blood.

  • FACTS:

Pakistan will never come out of the problem till it resolves two KEY issues.

1 - KASHMIR: About time pakistan stops spending millions every year in a never ending COSTLY war with India. Just make LOC - Intl border (which is the status quo border in any case).

2 - Madrassas: Pakistan needs to stop Saudi funding of Wahabhi madrassas and create educational institutions which create doctors and Engineers and not Taliban
