turn off the computer and put the sd car in then turn it back on while the sd car is still in the computer..hope that will help your computer to read the sd card...

It all depends on what type of sd card you got if it is a 2gb card the it should work fine a normal card reader can read it but if you have a micro sdhc card then you would need a card reader to read and format it also

Go buy Memory Card Reader. Where did you connect your adapter? On the front part or the back part of the CPU?
