Last week, Nestle lawyers attended a public hearing, along with town members. Very shortly thereafter, the town voted for a moratorium on the water truck facility. The legalese seemed to conflict with the case Nestle was making in front of Maine supreme court case earlier this spring.(Jeffrey Phillips clip)

  • you just cant keep pumping water out aquifers and hope things will be okay. They are acting like locusts draining all the resources then moving to the next and then when that is gone move on to another. Ground water is too valuable and to remove it the water from a community then expected then to pay for water from a different source will make a never ending cycle. We as a species are so ingnorant and blinded be our own present needs we have become apathetic to anything outside our own "world".
