During CTIA FLO TV was one of those products getting a lot of attention. I must admit I was pretty excited to see it and get my hands on it until I did. FLO TV will be available through Verizon and AT&T at a $250 (way over priced for what your getting) price tag and a monthly subscription fee of about $9. Did they try to suggest you could watch FloTV on a plane? Try looking up the coverage map and you'll see a whole lot of holes not to mention you won't get anything five miles up. Maybe that's why it's closing down in 2011 with no additional units being sold as of last week. Bye bye FloTV. ;-)

@2010mustang2 it doesn't matter because you won't be able to pick up the signal in a plane. Besides, FloTV is finished as it's going off next year (2011) and all sales have been halted.

this is terrible. You know something is wrong when you have to pay subscription while asian countries already have tv in cell phone for free (no subscription) for all major network. (no seperate schedule all same as t.v) on all standard cell phones
