I am happy that Virginia got a great governor. he is a God fearing man and is not afraid to challenge the federal government. I hope that us New Mexicans can get the same in November.

It' laws of equality that we support. "We," as individuals, have a fundamental right to choose who we love & who we live with. What I would prefer to see, and hope the pro-gay marriage movement pursues, is removal of marriage from the state Constitution entirely, replacing it with civil unions. Leave it up to the ministers to decide if they want to perform the ceremonies. Also I find the argument against gay marriage ludicrous. We're in 2 wars, the world is upside down, and people are dying.
