Educate yourself, High-fructose corn syrup does contain slightly more fructose then "regular" sugars, but comes at about half the cost of regular sugar. Both of which are not good for you might I add.
As well as this it stimulates the economy as it indeed comes from corn (commonly coming from US surplus crop.) Cut back on sugar all together, but don't make such a big fuss whether it's plain sugar or not.
Would you really want to more for food? Is HFCS really that bad? I don't think it is.

There is nothing wrong with eating cane sugar, or even white sugar for that matter. And our government doesn't tell us to eat copious amounts of sugar, I am not sure where you got that information from...And too much of anything is bad, even water.
YOU don't need to eat meat, but I am sure you do...Sooo your point is?

Man, I had a dream trying to convince me that HFCS was good (said it enhanced the color and sweetness of foods and was food for you)...which is why I came searching for this video to comment on it. Advertising runs DEEP guys, subconciously...Best to stay away from these ads all together.

remember the old ads that stated "DDT is good for me!" yet today DDT is "banned." History repeats itself! Corn Refiners get your facts straight HFCS is just another chemical that wreaks havoc on the human body. monoculture is dead, it failed as its proved its not sustainable. permaculture is the future of food and healthy living.

"And like sugar, it's fine in moderations." Yeah... it's not terrible, but, like anything, too much of whatever is bad for you. ex: chocolate's very good for you but if you have too much, yeah you know. It's just cheaper to make from corn, it takes the fructose from corn and regular gluctose, which is essentionally sugar, the corn isn't made from chemicals (which aren't that bad but people bitch and moan about), it's just compressed to get the fructose. Sugar is fructose/gluctose, HFCS fru/glu.

In the Journal of Clinical Investigation, Dr. Peter J. Havel, professor of nutrition at the University of California at Davis, randomly assigned 32 overweight or obese men and women to drink three daily servings — 25 percent of their daily energy requirements — of a glucose- or fructose-sweetened beverage for 10 weeks. At the end of the study period, both groups had gained similar amounts of weight but those

You know what is a lot dumber than this commercial? People who go on about how proud they are to feed their kids real, natural, "healthy" cane sugar.
*ANY* sugar or carbohydrate source, when eaten in the amounts our government tells us to, is poison. It's not an essential nutrient. You don't need to eat it, ever.
