i totally agree with you OceanQuest !
Gloubys have you ever dive ? if you never have you cannont understand the attraction of diving near iceberg or under ice ! I've made 5 years of diving and the ice is one of my dream ! The sound of the ice cracking, the beautiful view of the ice under water..... If you don't dive you can't understand !

I find some of those pictures very scary ....I would never dive ....Look how deap and black the water is underneath.....Not for me......How do you not find that scary?
I'm sorry but this has to be one of the most stupid things a person can do around Icebergs. If it moves at all as they often do you could be trapped underneath run out of air or be crushed! The rush I know but it's like jumping on ice pans, just something that shouldn't be done.

Let me take a moment and attempt to put your reservations at ease. There are certainly some icebergs that should not be approached. This is determined based on shape. Short, round-ish and wide icebergs are usually the best, although there is no hard and fast rule.
Ocean Quest has spent 12 years diving under icebergs with zero incidents. We cannot emphasize enough that divers should only dive under icebergs under expert supervision.
