  • I am currently battling Hyperthyroidism, If it comes down to surgery I want that one right there. The others I have watched well I shouldn't have been watching but they are large and very very scary.

  • They really have good medical services.

  • Get off gluten and avoid the ademoma in the first place, had the M I R P, still could not get well...found out the gluten intolerence caused more symptoms...the parathyroid is is symptom of celiac disease, dont just get surgery, (if ademoma, no choice, but remove gluten and heal or suffer losing the rest of your glands.

  • @asspop123 Yes in looking back I realize now that I had far less energy I just lost interest in things I was normally passionate about. It happened so gradually that I didn't realize how fatigues I was until after the surgery. Also for me I didn't notice a change in my energy until a few months after my surgery. I don't know it may be different for everyone.... For me the surgery was very simple and didn't really hurt after wards and my surgeons were very nice.

I have a question, I feel very fatigued during the day, even sleeping 8-9 hours a night i wake up tired. I feel like i can't concentrate at school, I feel out of it.. Its really weird. For the most part i have insomnia and if i try to go to bed i just can't its hard for me to do. I feel like i dont have any energy like i used to. I work out, but i feel really tired when i do. Did you have the same things happen to you?

  • Excellent, succinct overview of MIRP.

  • I had this surgery done and as long as you have a skilled surgeon it is very safe.... I feel great! :)

  • PTH level of 244 for me, yay.

  • Establishing the diagnosis of primary hyperparathyroidism rests on measurement of the blood calcium, blood parathyroid hormone level, vitamin D level, and in some cases the urine calcium level. Parathyroid surgery is safe and effective when performed by expert surgeons, with a success rate in the 98% range and a complication rate in the 1% range.
