Imagine if your mommy swapped bedside fairy tales with stories from the Bible. Imagine what religion you would be apart of if you were born in India or China. Imagine if people actually killed one another for working on the day of Sabbath. Imagine politicians lying to you about their personal beliefs. The Bible has too many holes to work logically; that is unless you cherry pick what you'd like to believe, deciding which verses are to be taken literally, figuratively or dropped entirely.

@jamieseiple The majority of top scientists do not hold your beliefs at all. Einstein was an atheist. Hawking is agnostic. Senators and presidents say they believe in your god to get your vote. The Bible is the world's longest game of telephone. It was based off of stories told by illiterates 30-90 years after supposed events had taken place. It was re-edited and re-translated countless times. Kings added and removed certain parts as they saw fit for their political ideology.

The bible is not vague if you actually read it (not just parts) Also it is not hate to believe in sin and punishment for it. Every president has believed in God. The majority of Americans and senators, congressmen, teachers, scientists and the population at large believe in God. They would say as I do that you deny irrefutable evidence, history and testimony. You can call the greatest minds and leaders wrong if you want, but maybe you can look into why they believe? No hate here:)

@6Vital6Remains6 When I stated that where religious people go wrong is when they try to prove God as fact, I did not mean that I dislike religion, or the concept of a God. I just dislike fights that have to do with God v.s tangible scientific fact (or theory). And, I also dislike when people push their negative interpretations of the ambiguous, and vague Bible onto others (like saying that being Gay is a hell bound sin, and hating people for it.)

@6Vital6Remains6 Well, as I stated previously, God can neither be proved nor disproved. So, to say that God was invented as fact is just the flip side of saying that God exists as fact. Also, there is nothing wrong with the human idea of a God. The idea of God has helped our people obtain universal morals (from country to country at the least), and has helped them feel important, and that there is a reason to live, or a tranquility in death (or the unknown).

@flatlanderdot I really wish we had not invented him because now we have no way of shooing away the notion of him.

@LinkbloodWoW7 Morgan Freeman is a non-believer, and a quite outspoken one too:)

@winterstellar Trying to prove God's existence is where religious people go wrong. God is purely based off of faith; there is nothing wrong with that, but he can neither be proven nor disproven.

@winterstellar Very witty.
@WarThug13 what about morgan freeman?
