I was just messing around in the introductory area the other day and I discovered this. By using the SoDT, you can reset any day while you're in the area past the iron doors. In case you forgot, or in case you didn't know in the first place, here's how you can reset days with only the Zora Mask: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voCVFx7KcWk
My method requires explosives, but it can be done without the Zora Mask. At the start of the video, you can clearly see that it is the Night of the First Day. After hovering past the iron doors, I go back to the introductory area and play the SoDT. When I step back outside, it's the Dawn of the First Day; when you're in the introductory area, you cannot change days, so going to the Dawn of the Second Day instead puts you in the Dawn of the First Day.
I don't know if this is useful or not, but it is new.
much to my surprise, this doesn't seem to work in the Japanese version. Trying that out there has some... very unexpected results.

Hahaha, that's so strange. You must've been on the Second Night when you recorded that video; I just tested it myself, and if you do it on the First Night, it takes you to the Final Dawn. Basically, instead of taking you back a day, the glitch takes you forward two days on the Japanese version. So if you start on the Second Night, you hit the Fourth Day.

...wait this is what you meant by inside clock tower? I was messing around in that area 2 days ago and noticed you can use sos there, as opposed to anywhere else.
weird coincidence
also, another reset day glitch happens when you ba hookshot and play sodt, which is obviously never useful because hookshot is pretty necessary.

@kKeeta Yes, this is what I meant. And it doesn't surprise me that SoS works in there, considering SoDT works. Did it do anything interesting when you use SoS?
