You can actually help work towards a cure for cancer and many other diseases by watching the video on my channel. Your computer can actually be used as a scientific research tool.

As for all you ps3 fanboys crapping on about how much better you think ps3s are now in comparison to xbox. Get real, the cell is a good number cruncher and can act as a GPU (like any CPU) but atm its a pain in the rear to as developers generally have to code from scratch specifically for the cell. For the process of folding proteins its brilliant, even running server tasks, as for gaming... not so much.
The application for cells to be used for gaming could (and should) be a big thing 4 future

What GPU are you using as an example? considering a ATI hemlock or an Nvidia Tesla would smash the PS3 out of the water.

Realistically man a PS3 wont do as much folding as a computer would. And i hate to point this out but most of those computers are running the same systems that are responsible for the xbox... either way, this isnt about which console is better its about proteins.
