This is truly one of the most immersive games I have ever played. I have found only one problem with it. Under XP the character can no longer run in water and slows to a crawl forcing me to use the jump control to move him forwards. Never found a work around for it. This is one of those games that should be updated and re-released for use on todays computers. A true classic.

hi!
i guess you run the game under XP with a virtual machine, right?
Could you upload your .vhd file? I can't get the game to run!
:(((

You need to buy one - the Twon-Ha guy will give you a sweat rag and that will make the Twon-Ha he sells you trust you.

How do you ride the TwonHa ?

Sorry, just noticed it's from a year ago ;D
I'll try the same thing you done. I would love to ride the twon-ha around, thanks for the kind responce :)

Hey thanks mate, in fact it's been a while i solved this issue, simply by scaling down my laptop's performance settings to the lowest degree possible, everytime i play the game. That way the Twon Ha bug goes away, and i was able to go through the rest of this anthologic game once again after precisely 10 years :) i gotta say it was quite an experience after all that time, while it certainly doesn't make me feel young at all ^^ but still, thanks for the help anyway, appreciated.

gryzorx make sure you unmark the 'Framed' option in the settings if you haven't already.
Another thing I like is that twice i saw a Twon-Ha stopping an NPC moving where he wanted and the Twon-Ha guy turning up to lead the offending Twon-Ha out of the way - therefore keeping you immersed in the game! Why are great ideas ignored and crappy ideas copied in modern games?!

What I like about Outcast and older games in general is the little details they do not bother with now. Like the head guy scratching his chin before 'remembering' the data to enter to open the first Daoka. Also the way he lights his pipe, also the way you can see footprints in the snow as you walk, it all adds to immersion!
