David Bowie - Changelings (a StarCraft 2 ballad)

Pretty much everything went wrong recording this, the choppy ingame stuff, the horrible editing, the camera running out of memory, so I could only use the first take...

...but I still think the lyrics are clever, so I didn't scrap it. Here they are if you have trouble following:

I watched a terran block her ramp,
never even letting me steal her second gas
And so I built some spore crawlers
In case she cloaked her banshees fast

Then she took her first expansion

But I knew when she was unsieged
And I crushed her puny force

My third game was against a fellow zerg
It was back and forth with speedlings for the longest time
And when he finally got roaches up
I was ahead by many drones

So I pulled back to get a spire
And for defence plus one melee
But when I grabbed my lings to halt his roaches
I saw they all had five hp

Changelings when killed off look pretty cool
