My old piano from 1987 wasn't working, so I decided to investigate the internals. The main chip on the board had a hole in it.

I touched a paper clip to the chip, and these strange noises started! How cool are they!

  • This is odd... I remember hearing noises like the ones at the beginning of the video in at least one animation film (or maybe series) used as the sound effect for flying dishes and/or electronic machines with millions of flashing buttons and LEDs, I can't remember. The noises between 0:44 and 0:50 ring a bell too; I think I heard them used as the sound effect for magic and/or teleports. lol

  • it wants to live. do the keys work?

  • Sounds like aliens are trying to communicate with you there dude.....take us to your keyboard dealer lol

  • whoa, you got some really sick circuit bends out of that. what kind of keyboard was it? i just did this with my casio MT-86 synth and i could only get a few noises... check my video out
