The EfficientGovNow program, through the Fund for Our Economic Future, aims to accelerate government collaboration and efficiency by providing as much as $330,000 in funding to collaborative government projects from throughout Northeast Ohio. Through the month of May 2010, the citizens of Northeast Ohio will vote on which of the 10 finalists will receive funding.
This project is a collaboration of the Lake County Commissioners, Lake County Central Communications, Concord Township FD, Perry Joint Fire District, Painesville City FD, Fairport Harbor Village FD, Grand River Village FD, Leroy Township FD, Madison Fire District, & the Painesville Township FD.
The partners aim to improve the service of Lake Countys eastern Fire Districts and Departments by leveraging technology to build an intelligent cost-effective system that will be used to streamline operations, efficiently use public tax dollars, and ultimately reduce response time to save more lives.
