@germanicelt Sadly I think that many people are either so stupid or so indifferent they've been lullabied into assuming the govt has there best interests at heart. This has nothing to do with the environment and is all about revenue unfortunately. We have two centre right parties who's policies are guided by big business, what wonderful democratic choices we have.

Isn't it funny how the ALP bag the Libs for changing their stance on the ETS, when it was caused by ten of thousands of citizens lobbying for it. Further more, if you have changing circumstances and revelations (eg climategate) shouldn't you naturally change your view, just a bit at least. The fact they don't shows they have been pre-programmed, and are not really in government representing the people but the international elite body thats behind the U.N and PRIVATE central banks.
