I appreciate your comments, I dont think we should categorize south american women as women that only look for hard working men because trust me every girl is different...they are gold diggers as well...as for me, I was born in Miami...my parents are from colombia and I know what a hard working man is and I like those kind...My husband is turkish descent and its not like I chose a type to marry...he is what I like...a hard working man that wanted to settle from the beginning ;)

Last time I recall it it took 2 to have a baby a mother and father so when a man stays at home he is not playing mommy it's called being a father.Why would I call a man taking care of his child a bitch?Typical cultural attitude.

Although you were born in Miami, you look like an intelligent person and you're definitely influenced by your Colombian parents values so I never expected you to be much different from women born in Colombia. I've never met an American lady who actually wanted just a hard working honest man though most will say so but American women not necessarily want what they say they want...lol..looks and money are the most important for 90% of American women UNDER 35 y/o in my opinion. Of course there are gold diggers among South American women but in my opinion, the percentage of materialistic women in the US is way higher than in South America. You have to consider American culture is materialistic and not spiritual while South America is just the opposite, people have religion, traditional values, collectivistic ways. Therefore, it's easy to understand why SA women make better wives, mothers, professionals, etc.
