You literally need none of those tools. You need a hammer, a nail punch, quick set compound, a scraper, and drywall sponge.

Can you just remove the nail without replacing it with another one like demonstrated by this video?

Nhguna,
During installation, every joist and stud is glued first with construction adhesive then the drywall is applied to the joist or studs with screws and nails. There will be nails around the perimeter and screws going through the center. So if you lose a nail or a screw, the glue and other nails or screws in that area should hold it fine. If you do pull a nail or a screw during a repair and the drywall is flexing, then put a nail or screw 1 inch up from where you pulled the exposed one.
