This is absolutely wonderful ! What a pity W.B. Yeates cannot hear her. But then, perhaps he can.

Wow her voice is so beautiful! Not like a 15year old but so wonderful *-*
What harp is that?

Naturally beautiful!

I heard this yesterday at a Folk Night/New Year's Eve bash in my local. The song haunted me so I tried to find it on YouTube. There are lots of versions but this is without doubt the best.

Very beautiful!!!!! Congratulations!!!

Absolutely beautiful. The harp and Siobhan's voice compliment each other really well. Forget X-factor, this is what you call REAL talent! :)

I love the way she shivers that typically Irish way, donno what it calls, but I love it....

Beautiful voice :) I love it :)
Rather stunning voice.
I can't pretend to be an expert on the harp, or on any instrument for that matter, but I'd say the longer training for her voice most definitely shows through.
Nothing whatsoever WRONG with the harp performance, mind, but it wasn't equally beautiful to my ear.

You're absolutely right. At the time of the recording (May 2009) Siobhan had been having harp lessons for about 9 months and this harp was less than a week old! Whereas she has been having classical voice training since she was 9 years old!

Wow is there an arrangement of that song I can can get for harp and voice. I've been trying to find one for awhile now. She has a beautiful haunting voice and adds the pefect emotion for the song!!

@celticladyofeirinn Siobhan did the arrangement for Salley Gardens herself, and she plays it slightly differently each time she performs it!
