  • @MissHelena1011 Yes, I know she is a great actrice too! Well, have problems with arte... can follow mezzo.tv and other german programs, but not arte :(

  • @MisterSoprano You would have loved her in Les Contes. She portrayed each woman very convincingly - she not only sang the roles perfectly, but acted them as well. She switched from one character to the next as if it was the easiest thing in the world. I would have loved to see a whole opera about each and every one of these women. Will you be able to catch it on arte in December?

  • @MissHelena1011 Great to hear that! I like Diana very much, last time I have seen her life was the MET premiere of Count Ory in march... Btw., sure, I am counting Stella - she is the only real women in there, the rest are Hoffmanns imagination, his different stories about same woman - Stella. ;)

  • @MisterSoprano I have seen the production yesterday and have to say: Diana was MESMERIZING in all three (four, if you count Stella) roles!

  • @potterclubtv And she becomes a Winehouse!

  • @Cissy97 Good decision! I bet she was great as Antonia, she would not be as Olympia.... many have done all four, but not many were good in all four. :D

  • @MisterSoprano

    You are right.

Anna NEtrebko was scheduled to sing all four roles in MET two years ago, but she backed down from three and just retained Antonia.

  • She looks great with black hair! <3 Voice is incredible as well.

  • She's sang all of them at the same time? Cool. I think its the point of Hoffmanns tales.... there is allways the same woman, just Hoffmanns imagination works :D

  • Thank you for posting!
