When one falls, others reverently bring him or her home to waiting family and friends. TAPS founder and army widow Bonnie Carroll discusses the recent family-centric policy implemented by the Pentagon regarding media access to filming the dignified transfer of casualty remains at Dover Air Force Base. The policy allows surviving families to make decisions about media access. Carroll discusses her own experience when her husband's remains were returned after his death while serving in the military, and talks about the specifics of the policy. The policy is designed to shield from the media surviving families that do not want any media attention, and to respect the wishes of those that permit it.
