do you have a new link on how to make a body suit pattern?
-
these links aren't working anymore, do you have a new page or something? I'm having such a hard time trying to make digi grade legs

Why you cut this soft cuddly fur???
-
@DBZanimetoys you can get red fur from just about any fabric store, though their fur is pretty short, think like teddy bear hair. if you want what's called long pile fur, where the hair is like 3 inches long or so, you'd have to order it online. red's popular so it should be easy to find.

I never thought to use a knnife like that to cut out the pattern, i'm the type of person that would be trying to cut it out by hand with a pair of scissors and wondering why it looked naff at the end, good tip =)

Do you know where I can get red fur??

@funnykittenz1 Depending on your size anywhere from 4yrds-7yrds...I'm 5'9" , 175lbs and needed about 5yrds

how many yards of faux fur do u need for a full suit? Hancocks's, the store i go to for my fur, only sells it in yards and each yard is $25 so i dont want to be wasting my money, or not having enough money x.x

I've always love your works and in fact I have one of your works in my studio laying about... the black tipped silver fox tail! ^^ I keep sending people that I know to you on a daily basis at times when they ask where did I get it from!

@SageH0629 you can find it at your local fabric stor or online i perfer distinctivefabrics[dot]com they have really high quality fur.
Is it okay to outline your pattern in sharpie? I just heard that when you wash your suit it bleeds through.

I've never had an issue. You can use a paint pen, chalk, pastels, etc if you're worried.

anyone kno whats best to cut over?
itled floor, wood or carpet? i'm ne to this so i don't ant to go messing up my carpet lol

carpet is best probably.
Wood can be nicked by the knife and scratch the floor. Tile can dull the knife instantly if you touch it to the grouting. Carpet's pile length is usually enough to keep the knife away from accidentally cutting the carpet backing.

Wouldn't the carpet be torn also?

You're not hacking at this with a butcher knife - the pile length of the carpet is generally sufficient to keep the tiny edge of the blade that goes through the fur backing from cutting the backing of the carpet.
