Kent Police Authority has invested £30million in a new police station at North Kent. The police station opened in spring 2008 and comes complete with state-of-the-art facilities including a 40-cell custody suite that almost doubles the cell capacity at Gravesend and Dartford police stations.
Unique features of the new building include the public front counter and custody entrances as two separate areas and a vulnerable witness interview suite has been installed. In addition to this a new crime scene investigation garage allows vehicles to be brought in and forensically examined on site.
The new police station also contains a number of environmentally friendly facilities including one of the largest geothermal system installations in the UK.
What a great building.

That's incredible, I love the design and architecture of that building. It looks very open, spacious and bright.
I'd love to work in a place like that.
