Truley shocking... I would like to apologise to all Tamils for what the Sinhalese have put your community through. It is a shame! ......but atleast they didnt target civilians at that time (which is more than I could say for the state and its nationalist majority). Also Tamils dont have rights at the moment. There is compelling evidence that the state commited a genocide in the final days of the conflict and is using propaganda, consorship and terrorism to cover it up. If Tamils can be massacered at any time with complete impunity then they dont really have rights

@sedm0757 Whatever you poltical beliefs are, you must still acknowlege other rights to peacefully protest ANY governement policy, especially one which went beyond simple affirmative actions and actually alienated and discriminated against Tamils. Tamils who exercised this right were allready being met with violence by secuty forces and thats probably why the Tigers targeted military targets. I personally dont agree with targeting random soldiers for the actions of a few.....

@lnpkural The man in this film who is speaking passionately about Tamil rights is actually Sinhalese. As are many of the people leaving comments here that express solidarity with Tamils
