In 12th century a jewish adventurer named Benjamin travelled from Spain to Baghdad. During his odissey he knew all the jewish communities around Mediterranean Sea and Central Europe. He wrote a book and this book is the main resource to know the jewish world in 12th century. Eight hundred years later, two travellers made the same trip getting into the main jewish communities Benjamin visited: from Spain to Jerusalem.

  • nice video.

i would very much like to see that movie.

i allways wonder why no one in israel is making a movie about the jewish life in israel during the crusaders,or the arab, mamluk, and otoman time.

there are some realy interesting stories with actual heros, but it simply ingored by the israeli education sysytem.bejamin of tiberia, asaf harofe, saadia gaon, paltiel, ishtori, zekoto, birab, karo, horovits, ben atar, don yosef nasi, haim parchi and many other heros, that know one ever heard on them.too bad
