Note: The free tool shown in the video below only works in the full version of Sony Vegas (4,5,6,7,8), and will not work in Sony Movie Studio.
To download the free PIP Selector tool, go to http://store.vasst.com/store/vasst-pip-selector-12.aspx
After doing this, you will be prompted to either join or log into the Vasst web site.
Joining is free, and the site is filled with useful Vegas and Movie Studio tools and tutorials, so it is worth joining.
After you join, download the PIP Selector, and install it following the instructions within the download file.
After you have it installed, you'll be able to use it as shown in the above video.

Of these, the best current version for the price is Sony Movie Studio Platinum 10 at Amazon.

Are you able to angle the videos on pip??

@str8jacket In Sony Vegas Pro, you can angle the PIP windows. In Movie Studio you can't unless you are using the NewBlue FX Video Essentials II, with the PIP effect.
