@KillerKowalski7 If he crits, thats different. He could KO with a crit Shockwave perhaps, doesn't mean I'd fear it. I haven't exactly seen Thunder roaming around on Zapdos much. Remember this is 4th gen, there is no auto + perma weather around. I was pretty darn certain I'd survive and I ended up correct.

My girlfriend is Czech, and gave my family some of those exact wafers last year!

Keeping things hidden and choosing what to reveal and when for me is the most skillful part of Pokemon. Predicting comes close with the mind games but a lot of it is just logical. Team building is fun but you can just copy other peoples teams and do fine. Once you learn Sets and Stats there isn't much left to Pokemon, especially as few people breed anymore. Its why I stay with 4th. Kudos to Hansolo for the excellent play of keeping his hand against his chest till he needed it.

Although Team Reveal brings certain tactical aspects to the metagame, imo it destroys the mobility of surprise and keep-away tactics like this Heatran showed.

I dig the PvZ music!

"Shuckle no Sleepy" should be the sub title of the next Star Wars and or Pokemon movie.

@mtgxerxes Thanks ^_^ I got it open eventually :p

i think if i was in your position, i would have attacked azelf with tentacruel, which should do a decent chunk. even though cruel would be dead, you would be left with 1 bulky poke and 3 fast pokes to take on the rest of his team, with 1 mystery poke and rest below half health. also for speed ties, ambipom and fake out and shuffle around for more fake outs. But i guess in the end you had decent chance of winning...and sub heatran isn't really a late game poke...

Wtf i felt like you still had 3 pokes at the end and you lost? That was weird.

other people are right, u lost the upper hand when u fell on the defensive and 'weary' side. instead of taking the offensive. no really explanation in or around it, just my honest opinion. but i will say i would have done the same as u and lost....
but it is one hundred times easier for us to say that watching it hrs/days after it happened apposed to actually being u making the decision. which is i understand. and admit would have done the same.
when you're up by a lot, its usually better to go for the offensive (ape), so that way you can start trading guys, leaving you with a 1 vs nil or 2 vs nil victory

@l0ngj0ng Well sure for an offensive minded person. Suppose he had something that KO's Ape. Venasaur is going to be likely to survive a shot from something, and hopefully put it to sleep. I still have Ape left that way should it go wrong.
It was a 50/50 call. I picked one that I can personally justify more for, and he just happened to have not only the perfect thing to stop it, but it also perfectly happens to have been something that Ape woulda OHKO'd and just makes it look really bad.

Lapenzke oplatky: Lapenz is a city in Czech Republic, and Oplatky means wafers. Lucky you have a sub who is from Czech XD

@JStehlik3 I figured there'd be at least ONE... lol
Well, by default you're the winner of the episode =P
Oh, and one of my next 2 roulettes has some more Czech chocolate to read. Those wafers were kinda good too ; )

IIRC, Glenn's BUSTED sweep (Sash, Sub up, +6/+6, Sucker Punch) was against Ice. Rain stopped RIGHT after you killed Zapdos. Dummy.
Hell of a game, way to give credit where it was due. I thought that trying to keep Venusaur much safer was very wrong. Venusaur had NO PROBLEM with Quuenie, I didn't understand why you let Tentacruel go.

@TheMaykarLocomotive I think those were two different Toxicroaks. Regardless, the Tenta was for Dragon.
