Yeah you can, there's a creepy garden on the top. Look up a video, there's all sorts of spooky shit going on up there.

@starsaber2345 Dormin was worshiped by the races that inhabited that land so he couldn't have been all that bad to begin with. And he was sealed away (the first time) by the tribesman who threw the sword into the pool because in the beginning (before the games time) he and other people started their own religion that did not like monsters, horns, shadow creatures so they sealed him away in 16 segments.

Very frustrating part of game.
I made it to the other side of bridge too, and nothing.
The ari just pushes you out when you try to enter :<

Now after playing ICO I understand. Wander can't go outside the lands because he is already cursed by the black strings that go outside the Colossus and inside of him. He is cursed by Dormin -.- sometimes I'm not sure if Dormin is good of bad ¬_¬

well I'm pretty sure Dormin is bad but your right Wander is cursed by the Dormin so he can't go outside the lands.
