I was the first customer to test-ride this brand-new black 1200 custom. Similar to the '48 in ergonomics, the new XL1200C has much more chrome, and a sensible sized fuel tank. The bike had only 9 miles on the clock, so the motor was tight, but it ran sweetly at 70 and felt great around town. See the video for more info

  • Aye, that's right. Well not exactly small as it was more a case of how close the risers put the bars and speedo. It felt they were right under my nose. Something that could easily be changed given the wide range of alternatives. However, in general it might feel a little cramped for taller folk. The other main failing is that of all bikes with forward controls that once you get over 65-70mph, the wind pushes your legs out and you back in the seat, meaning you feel you are hanging on.

  • I have Tested this Sportster...I love the look and feel.Rides great!

  • needs drag bars and a solo seat. a few other things too.

  • How tall are you, and what does your inseam measure? Nice bike, by the way.

  • @wholegrant Depends on what kind of bike you were looking for...if you want Harley. The dyna series is excellent. Comfy and they handle good for a heavy bike. There's a ton of options if you're ok with jap bikes or even the other euro offerings.

  • i'm 6'4", was thinking of this bike. thanks for info. sounds a little small for taller folks. can you suggest a good bike us tall ones?

  • get a windshield like I did and that problem quit

  • Nice looking bike It was a little hard to hear you over the motor. At the end, did you say the bike felt small?
