  • You needed a swift backside kick out the door. Too bad you couldn't keep up. If you did your ego would've had to finally shut up and you would've experienced real yoga. Instead you sat on your mat hating. You looked him up on youtube so you could sit at your computer hating. "I was too kind" ? Duncan knows how to draw out the fakes in the room. The demon is in your head. You better work.

  • As you lift to the highest point of the pose, keep your chin pressed to your chest. Only drop your head back when your elbows are completely straight and you are entirely lifted. Then, keep your head back and your eyes on the ceiling as you bend at the elbows to lower down. Don't move your gaze from the ceiling as you bend at the elbows to lower. Pull your chin back to your chest to mark the lowest movement. The head caps the spinal cord like a pez dispenser.

  • aww,boohooo so it didn't quite fit in with the usual,narrow,perception that most have of Yoga.Too many want their spirituality given to them and expect the asanas to resemble the static poses found in their books. I think more loved up,blissed out,bead wearing,shanti saying Wall Mart shopping yogis and yoginis need 'yelled'at to wake and shake them out of their reverie. you should have followed your friend out to Starbucks and complained over a nice comforting chai tea latte.....Shanti

Here is an email I got "Two hours of yoga bootcamp taking the personality of a marine drill instructor.Screaming and yelling at everyone for two hours.I watched a friend walk out 45 minutes into the program.I was too kind. I stayed sitting on my mat for the rest of the workshop.I stopped participating.Listening to the ranting and the yelling turned my stomach. I can't do yoga under these conditions.Yelling at everyone - like a fitness instructor- Put more into the pose! Faster, faster!

  • normally there is a great distinctive interest between the yoga guys and the "cultural involved" ones.

    duncan, in a stunning way, puts in a poetical like power that makes both sides shut up and smile.
