Jan Howard and Bill Anderson Singing "Looking Back To See"

Several duos have recorded "Looking Back To See" which was written by Maxine Brown. In 1954 the song was a Top 10 country hit for Goldie Hill & Justin Tubb, as well as for Jim Ed and Maxine Brown. Jan Howard and Bill Anderson recorded the song on April 22, 1971, for their "Bill & Jan (or Jan & Bill)" album, but it was never released as a single. Exactly a year later, Buck Owens & Susan Raye recorded it, and the song became a Top 15 hit for them. Other versions include those by Bonnie Owens & Fuzzy Owen, and by George Jones & Margie Singleton.
