INSIDE BA - Episode 7 (Special Edition)

2005 BA alumnus, Andrew Bumbalough tells about his experience running at BA and in college at Georgetown University. Andrew is currently pursuing a career in professional running and is working toward becoming a part of the USA track team for the 2012 Olympics held in London.

• One of the most decorated athletes in GU history
• Currently holds the fourth fastest 1,500m(3:38.23), second-fastest indoor mile (3:58.46), third-fastest indoor 3,000m (7:53.63), and second-fastest 5,000m (13:30.77) in GU history.
• Three-time BIG EAST Champion: 2008 Cross Country, 2008 Outdoor 1,500m, 2008 Outdoor 4x800m
• Finished second at 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships: 3,000m
• Three-straight All-American finishes at NCAA Cross Country Championships, finishing 22nd in 2007, 13th in 2008, and eighth in 2009.
• Anchored the fifth-place DMR team at 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships with the fastest 1,600m split of the day (3:56.1)
• Finished 10th at the 2006 World Junior Outdoor Championships 1,500m in Beijing, China

At Brentwood Academy
• Four-year varsity letter winner
• 1,600m and 3200m cross country state record-holder
• Foot Locker Cross Country National Runner-Up
• Cross country and 3,200m state champion in his sophomore, junior and senior years
