  • You're right. I'm sure they use cotton firehose or some other spacer between the ends that rots away after a year or two. That's what most places use. Or they recapture them to remove the collar.

  • I'd like to know how they keep that collar from getting in-grown with the bear's neck? I mean after a while the skin/fat will grow into it, right?
