Heel-Toe Double Bass Drumming

Hey guys! This is just a short clip of me practising some heel toe double bass. I know it's nothing special, and I know it's not that good, I just felt like putting it out there so people can comment so I could perhaps improve my technique. I know it's pretty boring as well :P I'll put more vids up by the end of June - I have some exams coming up so I don't have much time for editing etc. but I'll get some up asap :D

been prsctising my ass off with single strokes for 2 years , yet i cant play any faster for longer perios of time than 180 bpm.. its driving me insane ! as if my feet just dont improve ! is hel toe really easier for fast stuff ? im desperate.... need a solution to be able to play at speeds of about 200 bpm...

@Laurenan69 Hi Laurenan! Sorry I wasn't too quick on the reply! I know exactly your trouble! I couldn't play over 160bpm 'till I started heel-toe. I can play about 180 now in single strokes, but anything faster I have to use doubles with heel-toe! I couldn't recommend it highly enough, it makes double kick parts so much easier and use less energy. I could do a short tutorial video on how I learned it and exercises I did to get it more powerful/consistent if that'd be useful?
