@SempiternalDamnation - That question also makes me curious.

Except for one thing: this logo actually started out as a home video logo in late 1985. The music is also said to be a version of the "Superstar Fanfare" excerpt that was also heard in the Media West and Crown Media logos of the '80s.
Also, an early version of this jingle was seen in the 1979 version of Worldvision's "Radar Globe" logo following the Taft International Pictures logo at the end of the 1982 TV movie "The Capture of Grizzly Adams."

Speed that version up one half tone higher and you have the Media West/Crown Movie Classics logo, plus the opening WHOOSH.
-
In the case of the Media West and Crown Movie Classics logos, the Keith Mansfield-penned fanfare (in KPM Music Library #1260) used is pitched up one whole tone as opposed to Worldvision's usage of the music, and lacks the WHOOSH opening sound.

I remember this logo from Mod Squad reruns in the '70s, although it was silent then. They didn't add the disclaimer until later, so when I saw a TV special on World Vision International, I did think they were connected.

do you have the high tone and the original 1983-1985 logo, which is silent ?

I actually just saw the high tone version TODAY for the first time in nearly two years. As for the original version, I've seen it on TV a couple of times, but I don't have a high quality capture of it to upload.
