XNA Sun Shader / Sun Effect

This is the first version of my sun effect, which is planned to be part of my space shooter I'm coding in my spare free time.

Looking through the web, I didn't find any good-looking sun-effect, so I copied the style from the movie "sunshine".

The effect isn't finished yet, I want to add crepuscular rays and heat-refraction.

@MsYangful This can be done by post proccessing, you can render it with 'sun effect map' one time, edit the result so as a point on the image is far from the map its glowing weaker, than render the real model with this result image over it
