MARVIN GAYE SUNNY

Sunny, yesterday my heart was filled with rain.
Sunny, you smiled at me and really eased the pain.

Oh, the dark days are done, and the bright days are here,
My sunny one shines so sincere,
Oh, Sunny one so true, I love you.

Sunny, thank you for the sunshine bouquet.
Sunny, thank you for the love you've brought my way.

You gave to me your all and all,
Now I feel ten feet tall,
Oh, Sunny one so true, I love you.

Sunny, thank you for the truth you've let me see.
Sunny, thank you for the facts from A to Z.

My life was torn like wind blown sand,
Then a rock was formed when we held hands.
Sunny one so true, I love you.

Sunny, thank you for that smile upon your face.
Sunny, thank you for that gleam that flows with grace.

You're my spark of nature's fire,
You're my sweet complete desire.
Sunny one so true, I love you.

  • Too bad his father didn't think of him as Sunny!!!!! That man knew what was going on even back then. Imagine what he would be singing now!!!! RIP Marvin!!!

  • perfect as usual...though I prefer Boney M version of this song coz they didn't stick to the original

  • oh sunny, thank you for the love u brought my way...

  • I didn't know Marvin sang this! I'm glad he did!

  • what a blessed voice ...

  • Gaye Power

  • @MrDannyWright You have it completely wrong MrAssFace. "Marvin Gaye Sr never wanted Marvin, and he never liked him. He used to say that he didn't think he was really his child." Marvin Gaye's mom said that. His dad on many occasions even told Marvin that if he ever struck him, he would kill him. Marvin Gaye didn't beat the shit out of his dad, he pushed him over.

  • @MrDannyWright OH REALLY? go die
