This is a review of my new FGX Cat Tanto from the Cold Steel Nightshade Series....the quality isn't great...but the built in camera and mic in my laptop aren't really built for this sort of thing

  • hi chris you have make a good review i like good job

  • thanks man

  • Can't help but wonder why you speak against people carrying a knife for self defense, then purchase a knife meant for such a purpose and conduct a review. It also is hypocritical to say such things then reference 'soft targets' when addressing cutting power. I carry a knife for self defense, and have needed to brandish it to keep from getting mugged...nothing wrong with protecting yourself guy.

  • around the 2 min mark I mention that I don't condone using a knife on someone unless you feel your life is in danger and are in a defensive situation...I have lived all my life in suburbia where random violence isn't a problem...so in my world, carrying a knife for anything other than utility purposes is unjustifiable in my opinion...however, if I lived in a crime stricken area I would probably see things differently...sorry if what I said was too general and offended you...

  • hey man check my videos to :}

  • hey...I've seen the vids on your Rambo knives...cool stuff man

see all

  • @chrispy990 wow a resonable person on the web. well done :)

  • @chrispy990 A quote from A guy on youtube : I carrying a knife, not for taking someone's life, but protecting somesone's life.

  • how do you get an edge on it?

  • @samstterhamstteer Polyphthalamide is a thermoplastic synthetic resin of the polyamide (nylon) family that is used to replace metals in high temperature automotive applications, as the housing for high temperature electrical connectors and multiple other uses. It has found a degree of favor for use in cutlery. Cold Steel has advertised the glass fibre reinforced series as being stealthy (due to them not being detected by metal detectors and having no metallic reflections).

  • @Coldsteel0025

There are all-polymer-guns with the springs made of either elastomer, fluted rubber tubes or ... there are even "plastics" that are more 'spring-y' than spring steel!.

I betcha I could make one, given the proper tools and enough time. (and maybe some stimulus...)

It wouldn't be a semi or full auto, but a 6gun or a four-shot derringer? no problem!

  • @kungfuninja314

Except if you're american this is WRONG!! (Americans can and will do as they want - no matter what's right and what's not so much right... XD )

It's pronounced like the A in pArtner or cAn't. (Or the U in cUnt, if you want to put it that way... YD)

  • @Vampmonkey616 UK are the only ones who ban them.... Not even switzerland does, and they just shortly legalized non-automatic folding knifes of 2" / 5cm blade lenght...

  • Cutting monkeygrass?

    C'mon!

Maybe others believe you, but I really can't... no matter how hard I try...

  • @max465t grivory a fiberglass reinforced plastic pretty cool

  • I'm looking for a survival / utility knife. I was thinking about getting a coldsteel srk. Good choice or no?
