@kingvidiot66 I'm very fortunate to have stayed w/ my grandparents for awhile when I was about 7,8 years old in 1965 and 66, and my uncle was high-school aged and would spend all his money on records. He'd come home w/ another armload of LPs and we'd listen to them and look at the covers and all. Brit invasion stuff, Blues Magoos, etc. I have no doubt that this shaped my taste in music. W/out that, I could've turned out to be a Bob Segar/Atlanta Rhythm Section moron! Who knows?

seems the guys had the time of their life :-) It's all there, the rawness and attidute which i miss from today's arena rock-dinosaurs. Sounds as good as it was back in '66
Standells & Sonics, even today you guys a pure punk!!

I'm really impressed by this gig. They really have it together. DIck Dodd kicks ass vocally and as a stickman. The backups are a bit flat but hey thats rock and roll.

More convincing than The Stones
these days.

Way better than the Heart song!

impresionante, se escuchan muy vigentes, verdaderos maestros del garage americano, muy bueno gracias.

You are exactly right!

Brilliant video! Thanks.

In the 70s I'd find Standells, Seeds, Blues Magoos LPs in pawn shops and used record stores for fifty cents each! Then when I was at the register they'd be looking at me all like, "This isn't Lynyrd Skynyrd, so it must suck, what r u buying this for?" Idiots, LOL!

That certainly would have been the time to be snatching this stuff up!
