Original Hot Dog Shop

It's a Pittsburgh institution that has become famous for attracting hot dog lovers from across the nation to the Steel City. The Original Hot Dog Shop sits at a street corner in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh just a block from the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Pitt students and locals have been getting late night dogs (and fries) from The O for years. It is also affectionately known as the Dirty O. The hot dogs snap when you bite into them and the small order of fries can more than feed a family of four. WBAL's Scott Wykoff stopped in at The O for dogs and fries on July 4th, 2009.
