That lady on the bus sure did upset me. I have been told by my parents and grand parents how Maori was forbidden at school.

@Tiwaking Thanks for watching. My father and his whanau got the strap at school if he spoke Måori at school. There was even segregation around, like there was in USA, where Måori had to sit away from the whites in the theaters and there were toilets for whites only. My father said he got summons to court for using a whites only toilets once.
