Continuous recording lets you stay 'in the zone' longer. On this vid, I'm learning how to use the continuous MIDI multitrack recording capabilities of the MV to make a couple of beats, real time. Please leave me a note if you have some good tips, or if this vid it helps you at all. Covers adding MIDI tracks, assigning FX, quantization, metronome, loop recording... Shout out to Coldkurt, Maynard Ferguson, and Kraftwerk for the inspiration of these two beats.

  • Hey bro, nice video. I was wondering how many different built-in instruments the MV has?

  • @MatthewMatthematic Hi Matthew, I don't have the exact counts but mine has roughly 150 patches where 64 are drum kits with the rest divided up among horns, keys, synths, strings, and other. It has about 50 analog modeling basses. I downloaded the analog bases and some of the drum kits from Roland for free. I believe you can buy some from sites on the Internet, or make your own. Thanks for the compliment on the video too :) Have a good day!

  • lol.quantize goes on 120 resolution always.well at least 4 me. and your strength should be on 100% or 50%.depending on how tight you want it.i think the templets are cool to .i hope i helped
